Cloud Cover is about my anxiety and obsessive compulsive disorder. For years, they have been a fundamental part of my life and how I function. With this project, I didn’t want to show resentment, but rather sit with those experiences and feelings as they exist. These photos show anxiety as a companion much more than an oppressor. This is an observation of heaviness, yet somehow light still pierces through. Some photos were shot through one of my orange prescription pill bottles.
