Soft flesh. Overripe. Bitter. Fitting in your hand.

Plenty to go around. Precious.
Nectarine is sexuality- compounded with fury and dissected with my tongue in my cheek. Within a personal and cultural context, and heavily influenced by the traditions of Christian history and contemporary purity culture, my images navigate the expected performance and traditions bodies must comply with. Purity. Virginity. Being small, or rather, consumable, but never confessing to wanting to be consumed. These images prod at unbelievable expectations and representations, yet also leave fingerprints of my real experience.
